    Honestly, the new Google play interface is very displeasing to me so I deleted the play store updater. I have the old 3.10 version.

    Given the fact that they also butchered the Google Maps app with their latest update I don't have a great deal of confidence in their developers.

    You can go into Settings/ Apps, then find the Play Store app, select, see if there is an option to uninstall updates.

    I'm not certain whether that removes all updates (back to original settings) or only the most recent update. You can always go back to the current version if you don't like what it does.
