Which ROM slot did you wipe?

There should be two slots, one is the "safe" one (stock), the other would be an alternative OS. If you wiped the alternative slot, just switch to stock.

If you wiped the stock one and don't have a backup, you will probably need to download Matt's Razr Utility (make sure you have the latest version) and reflash your stock OS.

If you want to keep root, there are steps in the Utility to root the stock room too, but you have to get the OS on there first.

Hope you get it figured out!

Feel free to post any more questions you have. Matt's Razr Utility makes it pretty easy, just get the phone into AP Fastboot and go.

With the phone off, press VOLUME UP, VOLUME DOWN and POWER buttons at the same time. use VOL DOWN to scroll down to AP Fastboot and press VOL UP to select. You should see several messages on the screen (all black with white text), one of which will say Battery OK.

If you have an alternative ROM slot that wasn't stock, I would boot into that and ensure the battery level is at least 50% before flashing. If the battery dies during flashing, you may not be able to charge it again.

If you can't get into a ROM to see your battery level, you might need to hope for the best. Hopefully you had the device OFF when you weren't using it after the wipe and have some battery left.

In my experience, the reflash only takes about 15-20 minutes, so you shouldn't need a ton of battery, but it won't charge when it's in AP fastboot or if it doesn't have an OS installed.

    Hope this helps!

If you are in Fastboot and it says Battery OK and such, plug the phone in to your PC with USB and run the Razr Utility that you downloaded. There should be a run.bat or something like that in there. If you're not sure, there should be a readme file that will explain steps.

You will need the Motorola Drivers as well. Look in the folder you unzipped for the Razr Utility, the drivers might be included there.

Run the Utility and follow the instructions on the screen. If I'm remembering correctly it should have a few options like 1,2,3,4 for various things. Pick whichever option applies to you. If you wiped your stock slot, you likely lost everything that was in there, so I would do a full clean install on the phone. This shouldn't impact your SD card it you had photos and such saved there.

Let it do it's thing and it will boot up when finished and the utility will tell you when it finishes.

After it's done, verify it works and see what the battery level is before proceeding with the rooting, if desired.

I'll try to monitor this thread this afternoon if you have more questions.
