Over the weekend we experienced a problem with new user registrations, this is now fixed. Thanks to all who reported it and sorry for the inconvenience.

I don't remember if we have this function during signing up, But maybe we need a one of those capitia, "type in the letters or words you see," before registration is final. There have been a pretty good share of spam posting from all kinds of screen names. Just a suggestion.

We do have that and it was causing the issues.
