(Just In) Early December 2011 RAZR Firmware Update!

Ok bulletin all. I have strait from the Verizon general manager for eastern seaboard USA. There will be a massive firmware update for several issues with the phone's os. This firmware update will come early December.

Here are the issues resolved in this update:
- Out of service indicator
- Multiple mms pop ups.
- Settings menu error.
- Green/Blue tinted pics.
- Battery drain issue.
- No network/data network connection.

(Some of you have not experienced these issues at all or only some.)

Looks like someone is working hard at Googorola to make things happen. Another plus for moto, timely updates unlike erh some other Android phoneset makers who shall not be mentioned. Maybe i should wait until Dec to get this phone.

Yes very true. I hope indeed they will shows us all up and bring the bionic and razr updates out at the same time. I know the bionic owners need it bad. Even better bionic owners, this gm mentioned they are in the final beta testing to release the bionic's update.

Yep, never was that fond Motos designs but the H/W tech and build quality is rock solid ie the OG. The RAZR does improve their design status but still pales to A****. 2012 is going to be interesting especially the 2nd half when ATT will be more directly competitive on LTE coverage. Vzw right now is far ahead with all the major cities covered but it will need to bring out VoLTE to stay a step ahead. Once 4G is prevalent there is no need to handoff to 3G/1X which soaks your battery and drop your calls/browsing.

Thanks Venom. Good news. Hopefully it fixes my Market issues. I've had to "Force Close/Clear Cache/Clear Data" several times since I've had the Razr due to the Market not responding.

yes I have seen this also. Your not alone and yes it is a minor fix but it was mentioned. Alot of apps forced close including browser.
