I have a Droid Razr & I have it set up to automatically upload all the pictures I take to a folder on my laptop. It was uploading just fine & now it says my remote computer is offline. I don't know where to go from here. I've tried all other ways to get the pics off of my phone, through motocast & anything else but I can never find the pics on my phone to move them. I've gone through all files & folders on my phone. It's irritating me. It should not be this difficult to move pics off of my phone. Any help would be much appreciated.
I found this bit of information from that link(above)!
Why does my computer always show as ‘Offline’ on my device when I try to access my media and files?
If you are having problems connecting to your computer(s), here are some things you can try:
On your Computer(s):
Make sure your computer is fully powered on. It can be in screen saver mode, but it cannot be in hibernate or sleep mode in order to use MotoCast Wireless.
If your computer is already fully powered on, try restarting it. Then ensure that MotoCast Wireless is running. It is defaulted to run on start up, but if you have changed this setting you will need to manually start the MotoCast Wireless application again.
Certain anti-virus and privacy software my attempt to block MotoCast Wireless. You may need to go into your anti-virus software and add an exception for MotoCast.
Note: Most Symantec™, McAfee™ and Norton™ products come with a self help tool, that should provide the steps needed to add an exception.
Make sure you computer can access the Internet. If you are trying to connect to a work computer, you may need to adjust your Proxy Settings.
Adjust your Windows/Mac firewall settings to allow MotoCast. Click here for details
On your Device:
1) Check and make sure your device has data connectivity (via Browser, Market, etc.)
2) If open, exit your Music, Gallery, or Files applications
3) Restart your device
4) Re-open the application that you want to access your computer’s files from
